President Emeritus of the Australian Institute of Technicalchefs, Sarah Took on the role of President in September of 2019 Just before the Lockdowns and Covid restrictions so dramatically changed everything in 2020.
So very quickly the position of President become a supporting role for the Hospitality Industry with a focus on the well-being of the Membership of TChef and broader Hospitality Industry.
Advocating for the importance of the title of Chef and building respect from the media and across social media networks has been a very important focus of the last 3 years.
With the organizational focus currently firmly directly towards the building of our new website and building connections with Government to create opportunities for dialogue by the Committee and Government Staffers about “what the job of a chef is today in 2024”
Sarah’s been busy Creating new portals for our membership to network, learn, and grow as members through our industry partners and connections to build a stronger workforce for the future. It’s a very dynamic and exciting time to be part of the committee, I am very excited for the future of young Chefs in Leadership.
